RCS公司歷史
安德魯•艾諾摩斯(Andrew M. Economos)在加州大學洛杉磯分校(UCLA)拿到數學與統計博士學位、並在RCA實驗室研發多項複雜的系統分析應用程式，後來他移居紐約，擔任廣播電視媒體巨擘NBC的副總，掌管電腦部門。他體認到廣播電台渴求一套專業歌曲編排軟體，因而離開NBC，創立了Radio Computing Services(廣播資訊化服務)公司，也就是RCS。艾諾摩斯博士推出世上第一套音樂排程軟體，並廣為全世界的電台客戶採用，確立了他在這個專業領域的領導地位。

1979年，RCS全新開幕的創業力作，就是第一版Selector®。這套軟體專為那些希望能控管播歌率、講究編排歌單內容的協調性、並想創造歌曲資料庫運用彈性的電台打造。那年，NBC旗下一家位於舊金山的廣播電台成為首位Selector用戶，而Selector所打造的成功基礎，也促使RCS不斷研發更多廣播專業應用軟體。

出類拔萃
RCS看到廣播節目製播人員與業務部門的需求：他們也想編排出順暢的電台活動宣傳、台呼、或RCS所慣稱的「links」串場事件，而決定推出姊妹產品LINKER®。1983年，CD及數位成音時代來臨，五年內，RCS再度研發出首套全數位自動化播出系統：Master Control™，從此結合Selector及LINKER，廣播電台就有了完整的無紙化錄音室製播方案。1993年時，全世界有二千家電台在用RCS的專業軟體；三年後Selector已經獲得三千家以上電台客戶的青睞選用。

RCS多年來不僅持續對旗下全系列軟體進行版本更新或功能新增，還常達一年數次，可以說，RCS之所以掛品質保證，極大的貢獻來自於一路走來各項產品忠誠用戶與使用高手提出的專業應用需求。像是Internet Voice Tracking™利用網際網路預錄節目、及RCS RadioShow™ 數位廣播軟體裡很棒的點子，都讓使用RCS的電台走在科技尖端；而獲獎專利技術iSelector™互動式網路廣播軟體，更是RCS為客戶研發跨時代領先技術的另一項佐證。

推陳出新
RCS研發出即時音訊辨識技術，並已應用在最新推出的Media Monitors服務上，我們為這項服務成立了一家公司，監聽美國、加拿大、及其他多國共一千家以上電台所播的廣告與歌曲，以作市場調查分析報告之用。另外，由RCS研發的RCS RadioShow數位廣播軟體技術，則提供了編排與同步顯現視覺影像的工作介面，讓廣播節目播出同時得以搭配圖片及資料，以在任何影像接收設備上顯示。

RCS，是當今傳播領域中，執專業軟體開發牛耳的領導品牌，廣被全球九千家以上電台、電視音樂頻道、有線電視、衛星廣播、及網路電台採用。2007年一月RCS與Prophet Systems Innovations公司合併，Prophet Systems為RCS帶來業界的標竿產品，例如NexGen Digital等。
