India's most succesful radio group grows with RCS
Mumbai -- 26 June 2007– As the Times of India radio group, Entertainment Network India Ltd., launches its most recent station in Kanpur, RCS India supplies the new operation with a complete suite of scheduling, billing and studio systems.
Master Control as digital studio system handles the play out of all program elements, while Selector takes care of the music scheduling, and Linker programs all non-music programming content and talks to the other systems in the operation. The RCS traffic software Airwaves handles all aspects of commercial content from scheduling to billing to customer relations management.
Kanpur marks the 17th city where Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM goes on air with RCS as its exclusive supplier of broadcast software, and more are to follow in close succession. Other launches in recent weeks include the cities of Baroda, Panaji and Bhopal. ENIL has an ambitious schedule of putting 15 more stations on air throughout India, before the end of the year.
